I have the top quote posted on the wall next to my desk. It is one of many quotes I have collected over the years. My bowerbird collection of quotes began when I was about 14. Throughout my boarding school and uni (college) days notebooks were filled with quotes I had written from various books I had read.
While my quote scribing habits have lapsed over time, my love of language and for acknowledging the beauty in words has not.
It's only recently that I've come to terms with what an actual blog is. Now that I have I thought this was the perfect forum to once again put pet to paper (or fingers to keys) and start sharing quotes I find along life's pathways. There is nothing "intentional" about the quotes. The only common denominator is in their creator's wondrous talent in making their thoughts transported into words of beauty - into lucid language.
